When did God speak?

I salute you, dear friends, on this wonderful day! Every day God creates everything new and his mercy is renewed every morning! We keep talking about how important it is to be guided by God’s Word and God’s voice.

How does God speak to us? God has a variety of techniques that he uses to speak to us. Mainly God speaks to us through his Word (the Bible). For some people it is easier to believe in an angel who came down from heaven than in what is written in the Bible. God in his Word is much closer to us than an angel, but we do not consider the written Word in the Scriptures. God speaks to us through his Word. The Bible – is a living book, this is the Word of God itself, a Word that speaks. If we want to enjoy eternal life every day, let God’s Word speak to you every day. Don’t read the Bible as history, stories or fiction, which has nothing to do with your life today. Don’t read the Bible as the word that God speaks to the Jews, but perceive it as the Word that God personally speaks to you today. And believe that God can speak to you every day from the pages of the Bible. God wants to lead you down the path you should walk. God speaks to us through the Holy Spirit and the Word of God: these are the two main methods by which God speaks. The Holy Spirit and the Word of God interact. The Holy Spirit is the author of the Word and when we read the Bible, he enlightens us and gives us inner evidence. This usually happens when we read God’s Word. But this isn’t the only time the Holy Spirit can speak to you. He can talk to you even when you’re not praying or reading the Bible. If you have a close relationship with God, you will know his voice! When you pray, especially if you are baptized with the Holy Spirit and pray in tongues, your spirit is in communion with God and there is an exchange of information between you and God. Therefore, when you do not pray, the information that has been received and it is in your spirit that it is beginning to express itself.

Final Thoughts

God’s words, even those he spoke as recorded in the Bible, are as important today as they always have been. He tells us the truth just as he did in Old Testament times with words that have been preserved for us in the Bible. We can continually learn from these words as we are in the word daily and allow His Word to be a vital part of our daily lives.

Something more to read: How do we know the Bible is true?

To the reader:

Some of our Two Minutes articles were written many years ago by Pastor C. R. Stam for newspaper publication. When many of these articles were later compiled into book form, Pastor Stam wrote this word of explanation in the Preface:

“It should be borne in mind that the newspaper column, Two Minutes with the Bible, has now been published for many years, so that local, national and international events are discussed as if they had only recently happened.Instead of rewriting or dating such articles, we have left them as they were when they were first published. , especially since our readers understand that they first appeared as newspaper articles.”

3 types of prophets in the church today

  1. Those who are called/chosen
  2. Those chosen by people (mockers)
  3. God prophets elect

The prophets who have called themselves and the elect of the people are all called false prophets.
