Mojang and Microsoft are ready to finally release the long-awaited Minecraft version 1.19 update ($6.99) titled The Wild Update starting tomorrow on all platforms. This update follows Caves & Cliffs Update Part II as the first major update for the game and adds new biomes, blocks, mobs, and more. The two brand new biomes are Deep Dark and Mangrove Swamp. The new mobs of minecraft 1.19 update are the guardian, the banishment and finally the frog. New biomes
Mangrove Swamp and Deep Dark are the two biomes added in the 1.19 update. Let’s see the characteristics of these two biomes.
- Mangrove Swamp
Sculk Sensor
- Sculk Sensor now correctly detects when a Big Dripleaf block changes its state of inclination.
- The Sculk sensor now correctly detects when a grass, grassy path, packed dirt, coarse earth, or rooted dirt block is plowed up with a hoe.
- Sculk sensors can no longer detect a player equipping a portable item.
- Taking a stackable item from an Ally now correctly adds this item to existing stacks.
- Taking a stackable item from an Ally no longer causes item duplication.
Blocks
- Players now sink into Soul Sand and Mud blocks
- Players swimming over mud will not have their screen covered
- Bullets landing on mud will no longer jitter repeatedly
- Amphibious mobs will no longer have trouble finding their way around mud blocks
- Spectators no longer drop XP orbs when killed
- Spectators no longer reset their player level when killed
- Water mist is no longer removed for players in spectator mode
- Spectator players no longer make sounds when entering/exiting bubble columns
- Projections Shulker tiles no longer follow spectators
- Spectators are now invisible to normal players
- If a player is in spectator mode and there are other non-spectator players on the server, the spectator player will not be affected more about mob disappearance
- If there are only spectator players on the server, mob despawning is now suspended
