If you know how to summon the Keeper, you also know how to avoid him. It is usually suggested that the Warden is better avoided than summoned, because fighting him requires a lot of skill and if you are unprepared you are sure to die.
The Warden only appears in one place. You will need to find the Ancient City first if you wish to try to fight one.
What you need
Here’s what you need to summon and defeat the Wither:
-
- 4x Soul Sand
- 3x Wither Skeleton Skulls
Carry Ranged Weapons
The Smite spell is a melee weapon spell and only works if the Wither is down. Unfortunately, the Wither likes to run all over the place. Players are advised to carry ranged weapons such as a bow, crossbow, or trident to battle the Warden. Make sure all weapons have the best enchantments possible to have a better chance of defeating the Warden.
Defeating Wither in Minecraft Bedrock Edition is not an easy task. Players should definitely prepare potions of strength, regeneration and healing. Players can use healing splash potions to damage Wither as he is a mob of the undead.
Wither skeleton spawning rules
Regardless of whether you want to create a farm or not, it is important to understand the Wither skeleton spawning rules in Minecraft:
-
- Wither skeletons only spawn in low light areas, just like most other mobs. Don’t place torches anywhere you want a wither skeleton to spawn! Additionally, any nearby glowing or lava stone can emit light and prevent the skeletons from spawning.
- Nether Fortresses have an invisible “bounding box” around them, and wither skeletons can spawn anywhere in this box on most block types (including cobblestone and dirt). To increase the spawning chances, you can increase the width of the roads and remove the walls. A wither skeleton farm can be created by modifying large quantities of a lower fortress.
PHOTO: Modification of a Nether fortress to increase the generation of wither skeletons. Changes include widening the streets by 2 or 3 blocks and tearing down the walls.
- Wither skeletons can also spawn on the roofs of lower fortresses.
- There is a limit to the total number of mobs that can spawn in a nearby area, including zombie pigmen, blazes, ghasts, and wither skeletons. If there are too many zombie pigmen or other mobs nearby, fewer wither skeletons will spawn. Make sure you kill all nearby mobs!
In the Nether
Minecraft Wither’s weakness is that it cannot destroy rocks. Next, go to the Nether through the Nether portal, then climb the roof of the Nether until you find the rock. You now want to clear a small area and look for a spot where the withers will be stuck.
Make a small platform with obsidian to place soul sand and withers skeleton heads, then you can kill withers with bow and swords in Minecraft Nether.
