Basic weapons in the forest will allow you to start in the forest. They will come in handy when crafting and killing some of the more basic enemies. They’re perfect for your first nights in the Forest and for the first caves you’ll need to explore.
Modern Ax
Next is the Modern Ax, which is the best of all the axes available in the Forest. The modern ax is not only a great weapon, as it is great for felling trees. Similar to the Crafted Club above, the modern ax does 7 damage. Although it has a speed of 5, which makes it much better, also having a speed of 9. There is only one location in the game where you can get the Modern Ax, and that is inside the Hanging Cave.
