What is the most disliked game?

If you’ve been keeping an eye on gaming news, you’ve most likely seen the backlash Blizzard Entertainment got when it announced a new Diablo game, Diablo Immortal, at BlizzCon. Why the hate? Simple. Instead of an actual Diablo game, Diablo Immortal is a mobile game, which isn’t exactly the kind of thing you close your press conference with.

Well, at the very least, Blizzard may have the story behind it for the Diablo Immortal reveal trailer. As of press time, the trailer is now YouTube’s third-highest dislike rate of all time at 96.3 percent (up from 23,000 likes to 606,000 dislikes calculated via Scratch), which places it in a “high” company. The only other videos to beat her in terms of dislikes are Dilma Resistenza with “Daniela Mercury summons mulheres contra Bolsonaro” and YouTube Help with the video “Getting Started With YouTube Heroes”.

How did the study calculate the most hated mobile games in each country?

When you don’t like something, what do you do? You talk about it like a normal person (xD). DotNek filtered over 3 million negative tweets to identify the most hated apps in each country. While the study presents a fun way to look at the most hated apps and games around the world, the data collection method means it should be taken with a grain of salt.

After all, just looking at tweets is certainly not the most accurate way to conclude what a person likes or dislikes. If we did it with the movie Morbius, for example, the action movie would be the highest rated in history. Unfortunately, it isn’t.

The deluge of dislikes must be exhausted. Activision debuted Call of Duty: In Space (aka Call of Duty: Pony Up $20 For the Modern Warfare Remake) just 15 days ago and it has since become the second most disliked video on all of YouTube.

And while garnering 2.3 million dislikes in two weeks is impressive, I still struggle to have faith, to believe that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare can punch that high above its weight class to unseat the undisputed dislike- king, Justin Bieber’s “Baby” (featuring Got Damn Ludacris, for Cris’s sake!) sitting at 6.14 million dislikes.

Ubisoft

Ubisoft’s tight release schedule has started to take its toll — and people aren’t too happy with it. Like, at all.

Recently, Ubisoft has been the subject of a major marketing fire at the forefront, mainly on Far Cry 6, which is being labeled as a total rehash of the old games in the series. Buried in a slew of game-changing microtransactions and glitches, it’s evident that the triple-A studio has come up with something to keep in line with the strict annual release schedule. The problem there, of course, is that people are alarmingly quick to spot all flaws, both minor and major.
