The mods we have selected for you are working on different versions of the game. According to our internal tests, most of these mods work with Minecraft versions 1.16.5 and 1.17.1. But you can always check the download pages of each mod to figure out whether or not they support your version of the game. We’ve shared the download links and screenshots of the game along with the overview of each mod down below.

Note: It is important to remember that mods will be limited to Minecraft Java Edition due to the difference between Minecraft Java and Bedrock Edition. The latter lacks Minecraft mod support if you didn’t know.

Since modpacks are not included in the base Minecraft game, you will need to download third-party launchers or manually install the mod files. I recommend using the Feed The Beast (FTB) launcher when playing modpacks made by FTB (a group of people who make modpacks) or the Curseforge/Overwolf launcher for other modpacks. The Twitch desktop app used to be a popular way to play modpacks, but this has been replaced by the Overwolf launcher.

Launchers make it very easy to play modpacks. Simply choose a package from the list and it will automatically install the package for you. Note that you will typically need to log in with your real Minecraft username and password. This is safe when using reliable launchers like CurseForge or FTB. Be careful giving your Minecraft username and password to less popular launchers!
