What is stronger than Minecraft Bedrock?

So all in all, with tax we were spending about $40 a month hosting our 20 slot Bedrock server and its associated BedrockConnect node. While the performance was near perfect and we could set our server’s render distance to 24+ with no issues, we definitely paid for it. At the time, it wasn’t an easy decision as Realms’ performance had been lacking for a while. However, with the optimizations made by the Realms team in preparation for the 1.18 and 1.19 terrain changes, this is no longer the case.

Since returning to Realms, we’ve had player caps online on several occasions, and much to our delight, performance has remained strong. The Elytra flight was still smooth, we had no random crashes, and the terrain loaded promptly. We had one incident when Kingdom became very slow with only a couple of people online, but closing and reopening Kingdom fixed that easily.

It really depends on what features you’re looking for, as they can help nudge you in the right direction. If you are looking to play with friends and don’t mind limited modding tools, Bedrock will be the best version. If you’re looking to get into the game and play with all possible settings, or want to challenge yourself with the Hardcore mode, then you will want to play with the Java Edition.

Bedrock Edition

Minecraft Bedrock Edition was initially created as Minecraft Pocket Edition and was a mobile version of the main Minecraft game. It was created after the traction that Java Edition was getting. Later, it was bought by Microsoft and accelerated to the point where it is in power with Java Edition. Bedrock Edition of Minecraft is the best edition if you want to get more social experience as it is available on all platforms. If you have Minecraft that isn’t Java Edition or on PC, then it’s Bedrock Edition or a variant thereof. While it looks identical to Java Edition, there are many substantial differences in gameplay and support since Microsoft owns it. It’s very easy to pick it up and play with friends and family. You can also play with people from different platforms as it has crossplay and cross-platform support.
