Oh my god, I missed Resetti. As someone who has played since the Gamecube, I have been deeply engrossed in Animal Crossing to the point where my respect for the game and how it wants to be played is REAL. For this reason I can’t stand the game. I never time travel or tamper with the system. Even when I wrote the article duplication error, I just took the bells I made to get screenshots and left them on a random island. I don’t care if you do that stuff, I just don’t care.
And this is a big reason why I miss Resetti. Resetti used to notice if you were messing with your game and educate you about it. And every time he showed up, he made a longer rant, taking minutes of your time scolding you. But being able to have coffee with him at least showed me that he’s doing well. I miss you, man. Your health comes first.
How to kick a resident in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
We all have that one friend, relative, colleague, neighbor, who just can’t take a hint. Animal Crossing has taken this real-life fight and developed it into gameplay and in this game guide, we’ll cover your options on how to deal with them.
Players will find that different types of characters will inhabit their island. These residents will help you build a unique community on your island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Unfortunately, you may feel like a resident has overstayed their welcome and you want to kick them out. Luckily, we have everything you need to know to hunt a covered resident for you.
How to get rid of villagers?
Thankfully, it’s nothing as bleak as the image above would lead you to believe. You can’t just hit a villager on the head and bury his lifeless body in that spot where you know where the ground is soft, wrapped in a carpet you painstakingly made yourself.
Instead, what you’ll want to do is go to Resident Services and talk to Isabelle. One of the options she offers is to discuss a resident. Choose that and make a claim. After a while, this will get the said villager evicted and you’ll be free to invite another one in their place. If you are impatient, you can try making multiple complaints in a row.
Method 4
If you have Animal Crossing amiibo cards, you can use them to invite animals to your camp. To do this, simply go to the Resident Services building, interact with the Nook Stop terminal, and select “invite to campground.” You then need to press your desired amiibo card on the NFC reader on your Switch console.
The character will then be summoned to your camp, where after talking to him several times, you may be able to invite him to your island to stay. If this is unsuccessful, you can try again the next day. Special NPCs like Isabelle, Resetti, Mable etc. they cannot visit your campsite.
