What Happens If You Breed 2 Shiny Beasts in Hogwarts Legacy?

Are you curious about what happens when you breed two shiny beasts in Hogwarts Legacy? Well, wonder no more because today we’ll delve into the mystery and find out!

As you already know, Hogwarts Legacy is home to a plethora of magical creatures, from the humble hippogriff to the ferocious werewolf. But did you know that there are ultra-rare variants of these beasts known as shinies? They are identified by the stars next to their names and are the same as their regular counterparts except for their unique coloring.

Now, you might be wondering if there’s anything special about these shinies, and if you can get any extra benefits from breeding them. Sadly, selling them won’t get you any more money than regular beasts, but breeding two shinies might just give you a little surprise.

Join me as I walk you through my recent experience of breeding two shiny nifflers. You won’t believe what happened! I was lucky enough to find a male and female niffler, both shiny variants, within the same vicinity. After moving one of my beasts to the vivarium, I bred the two nifflers together, and the waiting game began.

Now, as the egg hatched, I was anxiously waiting to see what would come out of it. Would it be a new shiny variant? Would it have any special powers or give me extra materials when harvested? I couldn’t wait to find out!

Finally, the egg hatched, and out came a cute little baby niffler. As expected, the baby had a shiny coat, but sadly, it didn’t offer any extra benefits. It was just as cute as its parents, but that was about it.

So, there you have it, folks. Breeding two shiny beasts won’t get you anything special, but it sure is fun to try. If you’re a collector and love to have a variety of magical creatures, then breeding shinies is a must. Who knows, you might just get lucky and get a new variant.
