The second Clan Capital Mega Troop has been revealed and it is the Mountain Golem. We actually got a brief look at this behemoth of a troop in the original sneak peek, but now we know for sure what it does.
Slow and heavy, the Mountain Golem packs a huge punch and deals splash damage when attacking. It also has a special Crush ability that destroys walls just by touching them!
Attack Strategies with Golems
Due to the strength of Golems, they are always used as the great shields in all most effective attack strategies in Clash of Clans. I can name a few for you: GoWiPe, GoWiWi, HoGoWiWiPe and many more that you can see in the Attack Strategies category.
- Free the Golems, use them as stone shields. While defense buildings are hitting them, drop your high DPS troops like Wizards, Witches,…
- Always bring high DPS troops like Wizards or Witches together with Golems because their damage is really bad.
- Because Golems are unaffected by spring traps, so you can use them to test traps.
- Destroy or Freeze the Hell Towers as soon as possible If they are in Single Target Mode because they will kill your Golems very fast. If they are in Multi-Target mode, you don’t need to worry about them so much.
How to Unlock the Mountain Golem in Clash of Clans
There are many different troops that you can use to attack your opponents in Clash of Clans. The game regularly receives a huge amount of updates and some of them bring new units. One of the latest updates added the Mountain Golem. This giant creature seems to be really powerful and there are many players who want to use it.
The Golem is a Dark Elixir Troop unlocked once the Dark Barracks is been upgraded to level 4. They are slow ground troops with low damage but huge hit points.
Offensive: A good strategy is to release golems and wait for all splash damage defenses such as mortars and mage towers to fire on them and then release units such as archers, barbarians or mages.
When players start upgrading Town Hall to level 7, their main goal is to get their first hero, the Barbarian King. He’s fierce, dangerous, and better in almost every way than their smaller counterparts. With each attack on your village, Barbarian King will crash the attackers, thus allowing the player’s village to see another day.
