Use Alt for ribbon hotkeys
This hotkey set is for Windows users only. Pressing the Alt key alone will bring up Key Tips, which are shortcuts to different tools on the Ribbon. Pressing Alt will bring up shortcuts for the different tabs on the ribbon. So you can combine Alt with Ribbon Tab shortcut to switch to a specific tab on the Ribbon.
Press the Esc key at any time to exit selection mode and use the Ctrl + Spacebar shortcut to close a task pane.

Keyboard shortcuts using the Ctrl key:
- Ctrl + B – Used to bold the selected text.
- Ctrl + I – Used to italicize selected text.
- Ctrl + U – Used to underline selected text.
- Ctrl + E – Aligns the selected line or text in the center of the screen.
- Ctrl + Shift + F12 – Print the document.
- Ctrl + Shift + F6 – Switch to another open Microsoft Word document.
- Ctrl + Shift + F – Activate the Font option and you can select the required font.
- Ctrl + Shift + > – Increase the font size by one value.
- Ctrl + Enter – Insert Page Break.
