How to delete your Minecraft account step by step

If you’re still using a Mojang account to play Minecraft, chances are you’ve owned the game for a few years. However, it is easily possible to delete your Mojang account to stop playing Minecraft forever.

  1. Go to Mojang.com and log into your Mojang account using your account credentials
  2. Click ” My Account” in the upper right corner and click on “Settings”
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the screen where you should see “Do you want to delete your account? Learn how “. Click Find out how.
  4. Next, you will see a new screen that will allow you to request account deletion. To do this, click on “Request Account Deletion” at the bottom of the page.
  5. You should then receive an email from Mojang with further instructions to complete the deletion. Click on the activation link sent by email.
  6. Enter the information required to complete account deletion and click Delete my account.

How to delete worlds in Minecraft

Deleting your world in Minecraft is pretty simple. In Bedrock Edition, you can do this by opening the game and accessing the world list page. Find the world you want and click the pencil icon on the right. This will open the editing settings for that world. Go to the Game Settings section and scroll to the bottom. Click Delete World.

Make sure you want to go through with it. Unless you have created a copy of the world, you will lose it forever. This might be something you really want to do if your game is running slow on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, or Xbox in particular.

IOS Bedrock PE with saves

To reinstall Minecraft PE on an iPhone, do the following:

  1. Install iExplorer from the official site. If you’re using a Windows PC, you also need the iTunes app.
  2. Use a USB cable to connect your phone to your computer.
  3. Expand the phone file management window and go to Apps.
  4. Click Minecraft PE, then Documents, Games and com.mojang.
  5. Copy the MinecraftWorlds folder and save it in a safe place away from the main Minecraft folder.
  6. On your phone, touch and hold the Minecraft app icon. Once it starts swinging, tap the minus icon and confirm your action. This should uninstall the game.
  7. Reinstall Minecraft PE from the AppStore.
  8. On your PC, open the com.mojang folder again and move the MinecraftWorlds folder back.
