Mojang and Microsoft are ready to finally release the long-awaited Minecraft version 1.19 update ($6.99) titled The Wild Update starting tomorrow on all platforms. This update follows Caves & Cliffs Update Part II as the first major update for the game and adds new biomes, blocks, mobs, and more. The two brand new biomes are Deep Dark and Mangrove Swamp. The new mobs of minecraft 1.19 update are the guardian, the banishment and finally the frog. Ahead of tomorrow’s Minecraft The Wild update release date, Mojang has released a new trailer showcasing the darkness that awaits players who venture deep inside. Check out the new Minecraft trailer below:
MINECRAFT WILD UPDATE
The Overworld will have two brand new biomes: Deep Darkness and Mangrove Swamp. Deep darkness lies far below the surface. To get there, find the base of a cave and start digging (not straight) down. Keep your eyes but above all your ears open. One of the many remarkable things about this biome is how quiet it is. That is, until you set off a shrieker. Don’t worry, the name is misleading! If you activate it, you can expect sweet words to be whispered in your ears. Dear reader, I’m lying again! If you set off a shrieker, you have until the fourth shriek to get out of there, unless you want to come face to face with the only mob that dwells in the deep darkness. But before you go, don’t forget to use silk touch to mine some of the other sculk block shapes found only in this very scary biome.
If horror isn’t your thing, why not retreat to the safety of the mangrove swamp? Unless you hate trees with big roots. If so, you might want to keep going because these swamps are full of just that, namely mangrove trees. As awe-inspiring as they are magnificent, they’re not only decorative, they also bring a new type of wood to build with alongside the new mud block! You can create this natural resource using two of my favorite things: land and water. Speaking of water, if you want to get out on a big body of water, you can set sail in a boat with a chest! Fill it with whatever your expedition requires, whether it’s adventure gear, exploration supplies, or all the cakes you can carry.

And yes, the new content will launch simultaneously on all available platforms, namely Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android (Minecraft: Bedrock Edition), and Windows, macOS and Linux (Minecraft: Java Edition). So, yeah, here’s when Minecraft Update 1.19 The Wild will be released. As for what you can expect to see content-wise, you can read more about it on the game’s official website. The main attraction will probably be two new biomes, called Deep Dark and Mangrove Swamp. In these, you’ll encounter new enemies (such as the Shrieker and the dreaded Warden), new block types (such as sculkblocks, mudblocks, and others), and materials, and much, much more.
