Error: Unable to Update the Minecraft Native Launcher
Minecraft Java has changed the Launcher and combined it with Microsoft and put it as a download in the Microsoft store in a quest to improve security for Minecraft Players.
This causes you to get the following error message “Unable to update the Minecraft Native Launcher” every time you open the Minecraft Launcher on your Windows 11 or Windows 10 computer.
There are several methods to solve this error here we will detail them all:
To solve this error we must follow the following steps:
- First method:
1- Let’s open Windows Settings by clicking Start on our taskbar and then Settings on the gear icon, once in Settings you will need to click on Apps.
2- Then in the search bar we will have to enter the word Minecraft Launcher and click “Advanced Options“. In Windows 11 we will have to click on three dots in the upper right corner.
3- Find the “Reset” section and click on the button with the same name.
4- Done, now just open the Minecraft launcher and start playing Minecraft again.
- Second Method:
1– Go back to Windows Settings and then to “Apps & Features“.Then in the search bar we will have to enter the word Minecraft Launcher and click “Uninstall“.
2– Now open the Minecraft Store and reinstall Minecraft Launcher again.
3– The problem is solved and you can now play Minecraft.
Another possible solution is the following: if you have several hard disks, try to install it on another disk that you have not installed Minecraft before.
