To find enderman in Overworlds, you must first build a platform where you can search the mob.
The terrain you are looking for should be relatively flat with no trees so that you can see far. Ideally, you’d like to be able to see 64 blocks in every direction from the platform.
Steps to make the Enderman Farm
- You will need the following materials:
- Bucket of lava x1
- Bucket of water x1
- Building Blocks x1414
- Carpet x123
- Chest x2 (or create a storage system)
- Ender Pearls x16
- Hopper x9
- Iron bars x1
- Ladder x64
- Leaves x128
- Trolley x1
- Plate x1
- Track x1
- Temporary blocks x64
- Trapdoor x8
)
- Once you have them all, go to the End and head to the edge of the End Island.
- Now place your lava bucket on the edge and let the lava flow down.
- Let the lava reach the bottom of the end.
- Once done, place a bucket of water so that it turns all the lava into pebbles.
- Now go down with the water to the end of the cobblestone pillar that you created with the lava.
- On the last Block of the Pillar, place the Leaves to stand on.
- Now place the stairs on the cobblestone pillars at the top.
- Once you’ve done that, head back down and continue 128 blocks in the opposite direction to End Isle.
- This is where we will build the Enderman Farm in Minecraft
- At the end of the Leaves path, create a 9×9 platform with building blocks such that there is a 3×3 hole in the middle.
- Fill that hole with Hoppers. Here you can place a crate so that all hoppers are facing it or create a storage system or storage silo.
- After that, place the carpets on top of the hoppers.
- Now on the platform, create a 2 block high pillar with temporary blocks.
- Then place a Building Block and create a border around the Hopper platform.
- Make this level as wide as the 9×9 platform.
- On this layer, place the double rugs so that they overlap each other.
- Make sure you leave a block-wide loop near the hole.
- On that ring, place a temporary block and then a building block.
- Make a ring the same size as the ring below.
- The ring should be 4×4 in size.
- Repeat this step until you get to level Y 44.
- After that, make the topmost ring into a 13×13 platform. Don’t cover the hole.
- After expanding the Ring, place the Trapdoors inside the Ring.
- Put 3 on one side, 3 on opposite sides and 2 in the middle of the remaining sides.
- Next, we will build the mechanism that makes our Minecrafty Enderman Farm work.
- After that, with the help of Temporary Blocks, place one of them in the center of the hole slightly above it.
- The temporary blocks should form an L where the vertical line is 3 blocks high.
- After that, place an iron bar on the L.
- Place a carpet on the iron bar.
- Place temporary blocks on each side of the carpet.
- Enclose it with temporary blocks such that it looks like a cage of temporary blocks.
- Next, place a rail inside it.
- Make sure you cover the carpet, this is to prevent the Endermite, which we will spawn, from escaping.
- Next, start throwing Ender Pearls to generate Endermite.
- Once it spawns, put a name tag on it and put it in the minecart.
- Push it on top of the block that is above the carpet we created earlier.
- Break that block to make it land on the mat.
- After that, place a carpet on the minecart.
- Break your cage of temporary blocks.
