What to do when approached by a ranger
A ranger has a difficult, often dangerous job, with every person unique acquaintance, and each state of affairs distinctive. Add to all that the stress of the high probability that the person they are meeting is armed with a firearm or knife! Let’s make their lives easier by learning to talk to rangers.
If a ranger approaches you, usually all you have to do is keep quiet and listen to their instructions. The warden should treat you with courtesy, but remember that you have the right to search it. Due to the nature of their work and the low likelihood of being able to obtain an arrest warrant in a timely manner, guards in most states have extended search and seizure powers.
How to Notice the Guardian
If you now want to embark on the quest to track down and kill the Guardian, beware: The Guardian is extremely difficult to defeat, and since you don’t drop any loot valuable, not worth fighting for. Instead, you should try to avoid any encounter with him. Two warning signs will help you notice the presence of a Guardian in time, before you make noise and attract it. First, all light sources start blinking when a Guardian is nearby. So if you suddenly notice a flicker from your torches underground, shut up! Additionally, the Guardian has a distinct audible heartbeat. If he hears you, look around and try to locate the warden to avoid him.
So far, we also don’t know much more about the new Minecraft Warden Mob. It is essentially a large underground monster that attacks and kills anything that makes noise. We wish you lots of fun with your escape from the Guardian!
Throw objects like snowballs to distract the warden
When the warden spawns inside the deep dark biome in the new Minecraft update, it automatically starts listening for and sniffing out the location of any mobs or players near it. The Guardian will track any living creature it can hear and automatically walk towards its target at high speed. This applies to players and all mobs, including zombies, creepers, skeletons, and endermen.
With this in mind, players like you can use throwable objects to create noise that will alert the guardian to a different location than where you currently are. You can use items like snowballs, arrows, and even potions to throw them away from you at regular intervals to keep the guardian distracted.
If the target is high up, hiding behind walls, or just not in range, the Guardians will charge up a ranged attack that goes through the wall for a kill to your goal. The ranged attack comes from his ribcage, which opens to let out the sonic beam, dealing 10 damage and bypassing shields and armor.
Guardians don’t use the traditional creature spawn mechanic. To summon a ward, a sculk shriek must be activated three times (making noise) and there must be no other ward within a 48 block radius nearby. Then a guardian will appear from the ground.
