If you know how to summon the Keeper, you also know how to avoid him. It is usually suggested that the Warden is better avoided than summoned, because fighting him requires a lot of skill and if you are unprepared you are sure to die.
The Warden only appears in one place. You will need to find the Ancient City first if you wish to try to fight one.

How to summon the Warden?
To summon a guardian, a sculk shrieker must be activated three times (by making noise) and there must be no other guardians nearby within 48 blocks. Then a guardian will appear from the ground.
Up to 20 attempts are made to spawn a Warden in an 11×13×11 square centered on the howler. Light level must be 11 or lower for a Warden to appear. The Warden disappears by burying itself in the ground if he is not angry and has not detected any vibrations for at least one minute.
Try using carpets or wool blocks
Players who want to quickly escape the guardian without being detected or making any sound can use blocks of wool and carpets create paths away from the guardian. Blocks and wool carpets can be walked on or walked over without producing sound vibrations. Also, wool blocks do not emit sound vibrations or pass any vibrations through them, making them the perfect blocks for this method.
You can create a wall made of wool blocks between you and the guardian or put them on the ground and quickly run over them to escape as fast as possible without making any noise. However, if you want to be optimal with this method, the safest way is to create a proper path made of carpets or wool blocks even before the guardian spawns to allow safe passage at any time without risking life.
Can you tame a Guardian in Minecraft?
Unfortunately, there is currently no way to tame guardians. Upon spawning, guardians are hostile to any mobs they detect. While that means they could theoretically be used against other enemies like zombies and skeletons, it also means that Guardians must be killed or avoided to survive an encounter with them. Most players may die long before they can effectively use a Guardian against other enemies due to its natural aggression. This could change in an upcoming patch, as Minecraft is still being updated, but it’s fair to assume that guardians, like most hostile mobs, will remain untameable for the foreseeable future.
There are ways to avoid guardians without having to tame them. Guardians are blind, so they won’t chase sneaking players or otherwise muffle their noises. If a keeper goes some time without finding anything, he will dig underground and will no longer be active. Also, guardians can only be spawned via sculk shriekers. These blocks can be mined by the player, making it possible to clear an area of them and prevent more Guardians from spawning. Without good weapons, armor or tools, avoiding these powerful mobs is the only way to survive.
Operation of the Sculk Shrieker:
- The Sculk Shrieker has a spherical reach and expands in all directions. Find or detect players within a 16 block radius and if it is in the dark effect detect players within a 40 block radius.
- If you activate the Skull Shrieker twice, it will give you a warning, but if you activate it a third time, it will spawn a Warden in Minecraft.
- All sculk shriekers have 10 seconds to cool down, which means that if you activate the sculk shrieker and within 10 seconds you activate it again, the count is not counted.
- If players move out of range of the howler before he finishes yelling, he doesn’t spawn the guardian in Minecraft.
In Minecraft, you can crouch or sneak into the deep dark biome to avoid guardians. If you’re sneaking into a deep, dark biome, it doesn’t cause vibrations. While you have to watch out for theft sensors, they are hidden traps in the dark biome. If you walk on the sensors, they also give a warning signal to the egg keeper in Minecraft.
