Mojang and Microsoft released a new Minecraft update ($6.99) after the recently arrived big version 1.19 Wild Update. Minecraft version 1.19.10 has many fixes, eliminate duplication, locate biome command capabilities and a number of new improvements. The highlight of the mobile update is keyboard and mouse support on iOS. It took a while to show up, but the team finally released it to the public today. Keyboard and mouse support works fine in the time I tested it today with the update. I used my Apple Magic Keyboard and Logitech MX Anywhere 3 Mouse both connected to my iPad Pro via bluetooth. Conclusion
Minecraft is available on almost all existing gaming platforms. The iPad isn’t really a “gaming platform,” but that doesn’t mean you can’t find some pretty amazing games to play on it. For the most part, these games tend to be visually stunning and rely heavily on high-end graphics. Minecraft lacks high-end graphics but the gameplay is processor intensive. If your iPad is having trouble running the game in all modes, the game is likely the problem. If you only experience lag when connecting to one server, but the game runs great otherwise, check the ping and try connecting to another server that is geographically closer to you.
How to play Minecraft with friends on Android
The Minecraft app is the same for both iOS and Android. So, the steps to play multiplayer are very similar.
- Connect devices to the same Wi-Fi network by opening your Android device’s Settings and selecting “Wi-Fi”.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition. Open “Settings” which you may find in the lower left corner.
- Select the “Local server multiplayer” option.
- A new planet can be created or loaded into the game
- After pressing “Play” on the respective devices, wait for a few seconds to see a server appear in the “World” list. The display will show the symbol for “Wi-Fi” to the right of the blue background.
- Press the server to join.
The Minecraft Phenomenon
In any case, Minecraft: Story Mode is uncharted territory for Telltale, the creator of episodic games, so it will be interesting to see how it fares.
Mojang made its name with the original Minecraft, a cross-platform voxel sandbox game from Swedish programmer Markus “Notch” Persson.
It works better than the console
But if you compare it with a console like PS5 or Nintendo Switch you will be surprised to know that the Bedrock version is identical on mobile and console.
According to this Reddit user, the Bedrock version of Minecraft runs smoother on the iPad Pro than the Nintendo Switch.
