How to see your world seed in Minecraft Java Edition?

To see your world seed in Minecraft Java Edition, all you have to do is open the command bar. You can do this by pressing “C”, if you’re using the default key binding system.

To export an MCWORLD file:

To export an MCWORLD file, go to the worlds list and locate the world you wish to export. To the right of the name of the worlds in the worlds list, click the “edit” button. Scroll to the bottom of the “Game Settings” pane on the right and click “EXPORT”. A Fle Explorer window will appear. Go to where you want to save a copy of your world, give it a name, then click “Export.” Minecraft will let you know when it’s finished exporting a copy of your world. The export may take some time, depending on how big your world is.

How to restore your world to PC/Mac

To restore your backup Minecraft worlds to PC, simply access your game saves folder as above, delete the corrupted world and copy/paste the backup world there. The process is the same for a Mac. To find your game files easily on Mac or Windows, open Minecraft, right-click your corrupted world, select Edit, then click Open Backup Folder.

If you play Minecraft on Android or iPhone, Minecraft PE now attempts to automatically repair corrupted saves (starting with Pocket Edition v0.11.0 alpha). If that doesn’t work, you can try restoring the saved file by accessing your phone’s automatic backups (for example, Samsung Backup, Google Backup, or iCloud on iOS). Hopefully, these have backed up your Minecraft data and will be able to restore your world.

Import the converted world to Minecraft Java

10. After copying the converted world folder into the Minecraft Java save folder, launch Minecraft and select gamer mode. You should see your world converted along with any other worlds you already have.
