If you now want to go on the quest to track down and kill the Warden, keep in mind that the Warden is extremely difficult to defeat, and since he does not drop any valuable loot, he is not worth fighting. Instead, you should try to avoid any encounters with him. Two warning signs will help you notice the presence of a Keeper in time, before you make a noise and attract him. First, all light sources start flashing when a Warden is nearby. So, if you suddenly notice a flicker of your torches underground, shut up! Additionally, the Warden has a distinct audible heartbeat. If you hear this, look around and try to spot the guardian to avoid him.

What makes the Keeper so scary?
The developers in their Minecon sessions have attributed the Guardian a natural disaster, one to avoid and not to fight. While other mobs stop chasing and attacking a player once they become invisible, the Warden does not. The Guardian is blind and follows you at the sound of your footsteps and whenever he attacks him, he accelerates towards you with every strike. Once he reaches you, he usually kills you in one hit unless you have powerful Netherite enchanted armor, in which case you can last long enough for two hits.
The Keeper is also the only mob that interacts with the Biome he is in: he can dim the lights around him, thus making it more difficult to aim or evade him. While other mobs usually don’t attack each other, the Guardian attacks other mobs aimlessly. If you as a player attack him then he will stick to you and follow you instead of being distracted by other mobs nearby. The Warden also has the highest health in the game, even more than the Ender Dragon.

The Guardian can only be found within the Deep Dark biome located anywhere below level y zero. Guardians don’t just roam the biome, but are instead summoned by noisy activity within the region.
Drink a potion of night vision
Since the latest Minecraft 1.19 update, the deep dark biome has stuck to its name so far: it is considered the darkest place you can explore in the game. Aside from the guardian move sets mentioned above, it’s also essential that you use a potion of night vision whenever the guardian is around. But the main reason you need the potion of night vision is to counter the new status effect that was added together with the release of the guardian in the game.
This new status effect, called the darkness status effect, can drastically obscure the player’s field of vision, causing them to be enveloped in darkness worse than night. Thus, drinking a night vision potion will directly counter the status effect and allow you to see your surroundings while under the effect of darkness, even though areas away from you may still appear darkened.
Where can Minecraft players find Wardens?
Guardians in Minecraft are easily found in deep, dark caves. These biomes can be found while mining for diamonds, for example in Deep Dark Caves below Y=0. When you are in the Deep Dark Cave biome, you need a flashlight to illuminate your surroundings.
If you want to fight with Warden, you have to dig until you find Deep Dark, then you have to run as fast as you can for a few seconds until you find Warden in Minecraft. If you can’t find Minecraft after digging, you can apply the following command in chat to locate the deep dark biome.
